Wales v Andorra

Andorra Football Association

Following a change in the principality's constitution, Andorra became a member of the United Nations and the Council of Europe in 1993, allowing it to apply for membership of FIFA and UEFA.

Andorra is the fifth smallest of any UEFA country; only Liechtenstein, San Marino, Gibraltar and the Faroe Islands are smaller.

The Federació Andorrana de Futbol (FAF) was formed in 1994 and became a member of both FIFA and UEFA in 1996.

Andorra's first official international game was a 6–1 defeat in a friendly match at home to Estonia in November 1996. Andorra's first match in a FIFA-sanctioned competition was a 3–1 loss to Armenia in September 1998 in a qualifier for UEFA Euro 2000.

Wales record v Andorra

Wales' first meeting with Andorra was during the 2016 UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign.
